Brian Howley, 58, of Aston, PA, formerly of the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Brian was the devoted husband of his beloved wife, Jackie (nee Hoban), and the proud father of Brian Jr. (Mary), Claire, Grace, and Brenden. He was the cherished grandfather of Eloise and Mia. He is also survived by his loving sister, Kathleen Stanczak, her husband Jack, and their children Jack, Will, and Julia, as well as many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will deeply miss him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine O’Gara; his father, Aloysius Howley; and his stepfather, John O’Gara.
Before retiring in 2024, Brian was a proud member of IBEW Local Union 98 for 37 years, where he built lifelong friendships and took great pride in his work.
A passionate Philadelphia sports fan, he rarely missed a chance to cheer on the Eagles and the Phillies. He also treasured time with family and friends, especially summers at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland.
Brian will be remembered for his humor, loyalty, and the love he shared so freely with everyone who knew him.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing, Thursday evening, August 28th 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the DAnjolell-Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford, 908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 10986 and on Friday, August 29th Viewing 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH St. Joseph Church, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014. Inurnment Private.
