Brian Michael Harris passed away on April 16, 2024, at his home in Jacksonville, Florida.
Brian was born on September 27, 1959. He was raised in Darby, Pennsylvania, and moved to Colwyn, Pennsylvania at the age of 12.
Brian attended Blessed Virgin Mary Elementary School and Darby-Colwyn High School.
He played football for the Colwyn-Comets and the Darby-Colwyn Rams. He also played baseball for Darby Little League.
After graduating from High School Brian moved to Jacksonville, Florida, and enlisted in the United States Navy. Brian served 10 years in the Navy and worked for the United States Post Office of Jacksonville, Florida until his retirement at the age of 60.
In 1989 Brian married Lockie Douglas and together they had 2 children.
Brian is survived by his daughter Emilee Miller, son-in-law Joseph Miller, granddaughters Kayden Grace and Kensley Faith Miller. Mother Claire Harris, siblings, Doris Harris, James Harris (the late Regina) Donald Harris, (Claudia), Claire Barone, (Edward), stepdaughter Ashley Chila. Many nieces and nephews.
Brian is preceded in death by his loving son Trevor who passed away on November 11, 2022: Father James Harris, Jr., brother-in-law Scott Douglas, and sister-in-law Regina Mac Harris.
Brian had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to fish, he talked every day on the phone with his mom. He enjoyed vacationing with his granddaughters and riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.
