Bruce Scott Mano, 67, of Aston, PA passed away surrounded by his family on January 6, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 2,1956 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Gordon Eugene & MaryJane Mano. He was a graduate of Sun Valley High School.
Bruce was a lifelong business owner of Mano’s Auto Repair in Chester, PA for over 40 years and most recently in Wallingford, PA for the past 5 years. He enjoyed all things automotive and he had a special appreciation for Corvettes, owning a variety of Corvettes himself over the years. Bruce had an obsession with his perfect head of hair and loved a good banana split.
He was a great role model and known as a man with a big generous heart; he will be remembered by many for being a “good guy” always willing to help someone out where ever he could. He was a tower of strength and a fixer of problems. Many will have fond memories and continued laughter reminiscing about times with Bruce as he was known to be quite the prankster and had an amazing quick wit and sense of humor. He was loved by so many, especially his daughters. He will be missed most in his favorite role as “POP” to his 6 grandchildren whom he loved to spoil.
Bruce is survived by his adoring daughters, Danielle (Marco) Flores and Jennifer (Michael) Getz; his cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Grace, Daniel, Madeline, Lila and Marco, Jr.
Also survived by his siblings Debra, Gordon, Pam, Beth and Patricia.
