Catherine, (nee Dolan) age 71, on September 3, 2025, of Drexel Hill, PA formerly of Overbrook, Philadelphia.

Cathy was a proud product of West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School and Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science.

She was a devoted wife, mother, friend, and neighbor who took great joy in spending time with her family and friends, both near and far. Deeply involved in her community, Cathy worked tirelessly to ensure her neighborhood was always well cared for. She could often be found outside tending to her garden, checking in on neighbors, or decorating her home for every holiday with her signature festive touch.

Cathy had many passions. She loved crossword puzzles, kept herself well informed on the latest local, political, and financial news, and never missed an episode of her favorite “stories,” General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful.

Above all, Cathy was a caregiver at heart. She was a source of love, strength, and support to countless people throughout her life. She took great pride in raising her son, keeping him on the right path during his formative years—and, as she joked, keeping her husband in line while tolerating his endless collection of “junk” with patience and humor.

She also had a remarkable way of staying on top of her loved ones’ lives, always checking in, offering help, and making sure no one felt alone in their struggles or celebrations.

Cathy’s kindness, warmth, and commitment to others left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.

Survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Malloy, her son, Michael, Jr. (Kristin), her sister, Jane Lanatto (Tony), and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, September 12th 11:30 PM – 12:15 PM followed by her Memorial Service 12:30 PM in the Fairview Room at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment Private.
