Charlotte, (LaSpina) age 79, on December 21, 2022 of Wayne, PA.

Charlotte was born on January 4, 1943 to Jennie and Charles La Spina in Philadelphia. After Charlotte graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High school she went on to study Education at Cabrini College. She later obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology from Villanova University.

Charlotte dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved being with her family and friends cooking Italian meals for them to enjoy. She had many lifelong friends that she spent time with but her greatest joy was to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa M. Furey (James D. Colton), and Joanne Swayze (Pete, Esq.) Along with her sibling, Joseph LaSpina (Liz), and her grandchildren, Taylor Furey, Lauren Furey, Hunter Swayze, Jake Swayze, and Katelyn Swayze.

The family will have a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Teca Restaurant, Newtown Square at 11:00 a.m.

We will all miss Charlotte. She was so giving a person. She loved family and friends. She was a great sister. I pray she is a peace now and again with Mom and Dad.

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of my beautiful cousin Charlotte. I have many fond memories of her as I was growing up. My heart goes out to her brother, Joe and her daughters Joanne and Lisa and their children. Now she and my mom are both in heaven having coffee together again and looking down on us proudly.

So sorry to hear that Charlotte passed away. She was always very kind to me. My heartfelt condolences to Lisa And JoAnn and her grandchildren.
