It's hard to believe Charlotte, aka Mom2, has passed. I have known her for a long time as her physical therapist and then friend/"daughter". She has 2 very dutiful, beautiful, thoughtful, helpful, giving and kind biological daughters, and, well, a big long list of her "adopted" daughters as she called almost every younger woman she ever met. Charlotte always kept in touch, always loved talking about her Phillies and Eagles, her love of animals, especially the dogs in her and Barbara's life. She always asked about our cat Lily and horse Lewis. She would talk about her softball coaching days and the field she had in her back meadow in her beloved home in Chadds Ford. She would talk about helping her first generation Irish father in law lay bricks for their self constructed forever home. She would go on and on about how she loved buffaloes and her collection of them. She also spoke very lovingly about her daughters, son in law, grandsons and extended family, and, the family dinners they all enjoyed together. When I was working in Exton, we would go to the Duling Kurtz house and sit in the little private room to celebrate her birthday dinner. Susan drove her to our home to see our renovation and Charlotte insisted upon driving to the horse barn to sit in a lawn chair in front of the cross ties to feed Lewis carrots which he loved immensely. We shared many laughs and conversations over the years. We just saw her last Monday in Paoli Hospital where she whispered to me, "I'm dying". I am so glad we both got to see her, hold her hand, and give her one last gentle hug and kiss goodbye. Heaven just got a really good one. She will be very missed, indeed. Wishing every peace, love and light to her daughters, family and all her adopted "daughters" everywhere. Blessings and condolences to her family and friends.

Char as I called her. we became close friends after my Mother passed in 1991. We will cherish the time we spent together and her letting us stay with her when we visited from Texas. we shared many phone conversations and texts over the years and lunch time conversation. We loved hearing about her love of sports, especially baseball. Enjoyed her Buffalo collection . I will miss talking with her and wish Susan and Barbara and family my condolences. God Bless!
