He was the beloved husband of Miriam D. nee Martinand loving father of Barbara A. Cosenza, Ernest, Susan D. Stewart John, Miriam Lenio John Metz and Carol A. Pullman Michael. He was the adoring grandfather of Barbara L. and Michael A. Cosenza, John Jr. and Kristen Stewart; Michael J. Jr. and Nicholas H. Pullman; brother of Allan Lenio and the late Mary M. Gikas and is also survived by his brother-in-law, Xenophon Gikas.
