Daniel J. Smart of Broomall, PA, died on May 28, 2005.

He was the husband of the late Emily A. nee Waldner and is survived by his wife, Danielle M. nee Menichini; his sons; William Weir Grace, Daniel J. Smart, Philip P. Smart Teresa and Anthony C. Smart Christina; his daughters; Maryann Kao Yi-Hoa, Marguerite M. Meli, Elizabeth M. Balink Samuel Paschall, Emily Ann Smart and Mary Christine Crispin Joseph; his grandchildren; Angela, Joseph, Jennifer, John Keith, Daniel, Danny, Terry, Bryan, Patrick, Joel Emily, Anthony, Anthony C., Nicholas, Dillon, Ian, Caroline, Christopher, Emily and Tommy.

He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Kyle John, Samuel, Joseph, Nicholas, Alyssa, Bobby and Haley; his brother, Ralph Smart and his sister, Margaret Rodalewicz. He was predeceased by his son, Terence P. Smart and his grandson, Billy Joel.
