Dennis Bernfield

Dennis Bernfield, 73, of Exton, PA passed away on January 27, 2024.

Dennis was born in Southwest Philadelphia on April 19,1950 to the late Rosalind Bernfield (Greenberg). Dennis was raised by his Mother Rosalind and his maternal grandmother Fanny Greenberg (Cherry)

Dennis met Maureen (Cosgrove) in 1969 and after 5 years of friendship and dating, they were married in 1974 . They continued to live in Southwest Philadelphia, for 6 years, eventually moving to Deptford, NJ, where they lived for 42 years. Most recently, they moved to Exton, PA to be closer to family.

Dennis had a long career in the paper recycling business. Working many years for his family and eventually starting his own paper recycling business.

Dennis was a kind and thoughtful man. He lived a simple unassuming life. Dennis enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.

Dennis is survived by his wife Maureen (Cosgrove) of 49 years, and his sister Holly (James) Kerfoot. Dennis also leaves behind his sister-in-law Kathy Cellini and many nieces and nephews.

To honor Dennis’ wishes there will be no funeral services. I invite you to celebrate him privately in your own way.
