Dolores A. Fahy (née Lare), age 82, passed away on September 29, 2026. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she most recently resided in Yeadon, PA.
Dolores was a hardworking woman who was well-known throughout her community, having spent many years working at High-Grade Meats and waitressing at Falone’s Steak Shop. Beyond her work, she brought joy to everyone around her through her love of crafting, shopping, and dancing. Above all else, Dolores cherished her family. She was the heart of countless family gatherings and parties, creating memories that her loved ones will carry forever.
She was the daughter of the late Catherine and Francis Lare.
Dolores is the devoted mother of Billy (Donna), Michael (the late Denise), Jennifer, and Joe. She is the proud grandmother of Shannon, Gina, Chynna, Joey, Dominic, and Nicole.
She was preceded in death by her beloved siblings Jack, Joey, Tommy, Jimmy, Charlie, and Mary. She is survived by her loving brother Ray (Peggy), her sister Francy, and many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Tuesday morning, October 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at The D’Anjolell Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford (908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086). Her Memorial Service will follow immediately after in the chapel. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Media, PA.
