The older I get, the more I realize how fragile you had become. In my mind, I never accepted that one day would be the last.
The weekly sleepovers we shared over the last 13 years brought us both happiness and joy. We had endless conversations about everything and nothing. We would laugh, and we would cry.
Pictures and memories are what we have now. We are blessed to have them, for they are what will keep your life and memory alive.
If there were ever unspoken words, let them go, because actions speak louder than words.
Our daily phone calls will be missed, but most of all, the goodbye kiss.
May you feel peace knowing you are now reunited with your loved ones.
