Donald C. Powell, age 80, passed away in his home in Malvern, PA on January 19, 2019. He served in the United States Army from 1961-1963. Thereafter, he went on to work for the United States Postal Service when he retired after working for them approximately 30 years. He met and married his beloved wife Barbara Motta Powell.He loved gardening, working in his yard and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his sons Donald C. Powell, Jr. (Libby), Brian K. Powell (Joanne), along with is his step-children Deborah A. Dion, Robert M. Thornton (Peggy), Joseph P. Thornton and the late Russell E. Thornton. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Barbara Rourke, Nancy Habecker and Kay Thoensen.Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Friday, January 25th at 11:00 AM and followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home, 392 Lancaster Avenue, Frazer, PA 19355.
