Donna R. Kennedy

Donna R. Kennedy, 78, a devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to many passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026.

Raised in Darby, Donna attended Archbishop Prendergast High School, where she met her future husband, Michael A. Kennedy, at a “mixer” with Monsignor Bonner High School. Following high school, Donna worked as a secretary for many years while Mike continued his education, with Donna lovingly typing his papers to give him more time to study. They were married in 1974 and made their home in Marlton, New Jersey, where Donna was the beloved wife of nearly 50 years and life forever became “Mike, Donna, and the girls.”

Donna is survived by her daughters Megan (Charlie Mylonas) and M. Laura, and her brother-in-law Matthew Kennedy (Patricia). She was the cherished Grandmom of Charlie and Katie, who brought her immeasurable joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

An avid fan of romantic comedy movies, Donna will be especially remembered for her gift of storytelling always being delivered with an innocent sense of humor and a warm smile.

At Donna’s request, services will be private for immediate family. In lieu of a formal service, she asked that family and friends enjoy a cup of hot tea with a favorite dessert while talking on the phone with a loved one. As you take that quiet moment for yourself, she will be with you smiling down.
