Hi aunt dot, I was just thinking about you and thought I would send you a note. I think about you everyday. How blessed I am to have you as my aunt. I loved all the cards you and uncle Arnold wrote and all the gifts I cherish from when I was little. Even the stuffed dog uncle Arnold got me , with the pipe in his mouth. He is sitting right here. I call him Popeyes. I wear the jade fish every day and I love the ceramic on wood box you bought me eons ago. You probably don’t even remember it, I was tiny. I have saved them all. I am so proud that you are my aunt. I hope you and uncle Arnold are playing tennis, growing tomatoes and flowers and listening to all the birds that bring you joy. Miss you

My Aunt was able to appreciate things in me that nobody else noticed., like the stick I put in a container of water that was on my back walkway in case the newt wanted to get out. I do stuff like that all the time and no one ever sees and I was shocked that she knew why I did it. Not only did she notice but she made sure to tell me. Being seen and appreciated is powerful.
