Dr. Thomas C. Calabria DDS

Dr. Thomas C. Calabria, DDS, 90, of Havertown, PA, died on October 22, 2026, after a brief illness at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA.

After Thomas was born in Philadelphia on March 20, 1936, the family moved to Havertown, PA, and he attended Haverford High. He earned both his Undergraduate and Dental School degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Thomas served his community by practicing dentistry in Paoli, PA, and remained devoted to his patients.  He happily shared his meticulous study of history and political science with family and friends. After retirement, he split his time between studying and gardening.

Thomas will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He dedicated many years to caring for his parents in their home. He was predeceased by his father, Dr. James Thomas (Calupi) Calabria, and mother, Isabella Catherine (nee Morelli) Calabria.

Thomas is survived by his brothers, James (and the late Joanne) and Robert “Bob” (Ann Marie); nephews, James (Sandice), David (Sue), Glen (Kimberly), Brent (Sarah); nieces, Gina (Russell) and Laura (Joe); grandnieces, Katie, Coley, Mimi, Charlotte, Kate, Joanna, Gianna and Julianna; grandnephews, James III, Mike, Anson, Byron, Forrest, and Hunter; and numerous cousins and friends. He cherished all the cards and letters he received from family members.

The family sincerely thanks the doctors, residents, nurse practitioners, nurses, and staff at Lankenau Medical Center for their compassionate care and support.

Relatives & friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 9:00–9:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM in the Main Chapel at D’Anjolell Memorial Home, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment: Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
