Please accept my deepest sympathy, I am sorry to read of the passing of your love one, who will be missed. Losing a love one in death is never easy. It's in times like these when the loving promises of our Heavenly Father can bring comfort. Knowing there is a hope that we can see our dear loved ones again, can bring comfort and may soften our grief in time.

I am so sadden to hear about the passing of a great man . Even more so that I will not be able to attend his home going . My prayers go out to his family. A fond memory of Dwight Was that some years ago at store 584 in Sugarland Texas Dwight walked up to me where I was working As a lumber department supervisor at the Home Depot . He asked me in a stern no nonsense voice and said Hammie If I promote you , who do you have to take your place ? I ofcourse within seconds gave him a name . a week later I was promoted to area manager at Rosenberg # 6530 Home Depot. With that question I learned a valuable lesson from Dwight, in order for you to grow you have to grow somebody .
Thank you Dwight for being such an inspiration in my life and may you Rest In Peace.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I worked with Dwight when I was first hired at the Roosevelt Boulevard Home Depot all the way back in 1995. He was one of the assistant managers. I worked with him again when we both were at the Upper Darby store. He was kind and gentle, but tough. He will be missed.

My condolences to his wife, Sharon, who I worked with at both the Upper Darby and Ridley Park stores.

I am so sorry for your loss. May God send you comfort and healing in this time of grief.

Dwight was the only Dallas Cowboy fan that I liked, we would tease each other through the years, always with a smile and a laugh! He was a great guy who would do anything for you, we will cherish the wonderful memories of shared times and remember him fondly! Margie and Michael McNelly

It saddens me to hear about Dwight's passing as he was a great leader and his contributions to the Home Depot has made it a greater store. His drive for success was fueled because of the love for his children. I feel honored and grateful that I was fortunate enough to be on his team R.I.P.

He was the most amazing boss at Home Depot 584 for over 6 of the 10 years I was there. I think I fell in love with him the day he brought a dog to work. He had stopped to rescue the dog. After that he was my cohort in many Home Depot animal rescues- even keeping them in his office duing the day. I brought newborn kittens so I could feed them throughout the day. Once 4 puppies were dumped in the parking lot. My husband worked 3-11p & I went to work at 4am. Told Dwight no way could I leave pups at home...no prob. He took down a 400.00 kennel- had some of the guys assemble it & I brought puppies to work with me for a few weeks till adopted. Another time someone lost her pug in the parking lot. For a week I was on the clock but helping search for the dog on internet & physically- yes the dog was found. He would take possums for me to relocate out in Katy fields. Thats just the animal stories...when the garden cat bit him- a nibble...he just said something funny. When my husband lost his job Dwight found him work at the store. He was such a power- I adored & respected him. Everyone worked hard for him. We were family there. When he transferred up north the whole store was sad. I wish I had kept in touch. I wish I had told him what a rock star he was. What an impact he had on me. Condolences to Sharon & his daughters. He will be missed by many. The crazy cat lady,Andrea.

Matt and David, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Dwight as Lynn's sweet little brother who, along with my brother Leslie, liked to tease and pester us when we were together. You and Dwight's family are in my prayers.
