BorioEdward P. Borio “Ed” suddenly on Sept. 16, 2017 of Ridley Park. Ed was born December 19, 1959, the son of the late Edward P. & Margaret Rose Borio. Ed was a life-long resident of Delaware County. He was an alumnus of Cardinal O’Hara High School and West Chester University. Ed worked as a contract specialist for the Dept. of Defense.Ed was very proud of his children. He visited Stephanie to attend Ohio State football games and to travel around Chicago, and frequently visited Rider University on weekends to watch Jennifer play volleyball. He could always be found supporting his kids or bragging about their accomplishments. Ed loved to bring people together and never turned down an invitation to a party, especially when there was live music. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time at the beach. Ed cherished his family and friends, and never met a person he didn’t like. Everyone who knew Ed knew he was a passionate Eagles fan. As a two-decade season ticket holder, Ed always stuck by the Birds and enjoyed going to games with his brother, Jim. He loved the holidays and looked forward to Christmas dinner, especially the ravioli. Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lisa ( nee Barnes); his daughters Stephanie & Jennifer Borio. Also survived by his sisters Terri (Brian) Sayago, Joann (Louis) Teti, Karen (John) Morgan, his brother James (Terry) Borio.Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thurs. eve 6-8 PM and his funeral Fri. 8:15 -9:15 AM at the DANJOLELL – BARONE MEMORIAL HOME, 908 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford Funeral Mass: 10 AM at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.Burial: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
