Eleanor M. Haschak formerly of Aston, PA passed away suddenly on April 16, 2023 at home at the age of 88. Unfortunately, she did not reach her goal of 102. Eleanor was born in Marion Heights, PA and later resided in Glenolden until she married Frank in September of 1953.
Cherished mother of Frank Haschak, Jr., Gregory (Deborah) Haschak, Christine Ruza, Monica (Ronald) Wiernicki, Leona Miller, Jerry (Byron) Haschak and Eric (Denise) Haschak. Also survived by her grandchildren Gregory, Jr. (Sabrina), Carolyn, Brandon, Julianna, Alaina, John III and Francis Jr., great grandchildren Olivia, Jade and McKinsley sister of Genevieve Littlewood (Ken) and Michael Narcavage (Elfriede).
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Frank (Hank) Haschak, grandsons Derrick, Jesse and Justin, parents Alexander and Genevieve Narcavage, sister Leona Narcavage, brother Alexander Narcavage and sister-in-law Miriam Narcavage.
She was a devoted housewife who worked numerous jobs throughout her lifetime as a secretary for Allen Tollen, Wallingford Nursing Home and Baird & Bird Realtors to name a few. She also volunteered at Crozer Chester Medical Center.
She was a long-time member of the choir and a cantor for St. Joseph’s Church in Aston. Singing was one of her passions.
She had a zest for life, loved to travel, loved the beach and BINGO (just like her Mother). She was an avid reader and word searcher. But most of all Eleanor loved to be with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday April 21st 9:30 am to 10:45 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike in Eddystone. Funeral mass to be held at 11:00 am. Interment at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
