Elie (nee Caruso), age 99, of Glen Mills, PA died on November 7, 2024. Born in Philadelphia on May 24, 1925, she lived most of her life in Delaware County, PA. She retired from her work at Conrail after many years of service.
Beloved wife of the late John Pastore, she was predeceased by her sisters Rose Scaramuzza, Antonette Devarenne, Rita Quercetti, Loretta Touni and brothers Harry Caruso and Alfred Caruso. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Elie loved the NJ beaches and traveling with her husband John. Her favorite pastimes were playing cards and Mahjong with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA on Friday, November 15, 2024. The Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon). Following Mass, the Interment will be at Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for Children @stjude.org or mail to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
