BURKE

 

Francis M., age 74, on April 17, 2024, of Prospect Park, PA.

 

Francis was a in the United States Navy for four years; he was a Vietnam Veteran and flight pilot. He was a Mummer for 16 years at Cahill-Finnegans. Frank was part of the Philadelphia Fire Department for 35 years at Engine 53 as lieutenant. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Fox Smith Post Essington, PA 4845. Frank loved to be the life of the party, to dance, and play his music. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

 

Predeceased by his former wife, Nancy (nee Anela) Burke, his children John J. Mills, and Dee Fritz, and his parents, Edith, and Thomas D. Burke.

 

Survived by his wife, Dee Mills Burke, his children, Anna Marie Watsey (Kevin), and Frankie Burke, his grandchildren, Billy (Melissa), Brianna, Ella, and Jayda, his nine great-grandchildren, his brothers, Daniel and Joe, and his dear friend, Linda Snopkowski.

 

Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation Friday, April 26th 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM followed by his Memorial Service 12:30 PM at the DAnjolell-Barone Memorial Home 908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086.  Inurnment Private.
