Frank Vincent Linker was born in 1935 to Charles and Hilda Linker in Danville, Pennsylvania. He was the oldest of two sons, he and his younger brother Charley. Frank’s Family moved to Philadelphia during the WWII to help with the wartime effort. His father who was a machinist sparked his interest for this trade. This led to Frank entering into an apprenticeship program at Atlantic Tool and Die which he completed. During these years he met Dawn Neuman at a school dance, fell in love and shortly after got married.
A year later they had their first child, Frank Jr followed by the second child Dawn.
As a toolmaker he dreamed of having his own machine shop which became a reality years later. In the early 1970’s he opened American Tech Manufacturing.
There he held many patents on equipment that sold worldwide to semiconductor manufacturers. In mid-seventies he had his third child Heather.
In the ninety’s Frank decided it was time to retire.
This allowed Frank and Dawn to travel to Florida during the winter months and to the Poconos during the summer months. Both being animal lovers meant the dogs got to tag along with them.
Frank always enjoyed spending time with his family and telling stories about the past. Some of his favorite games were 500-rummy and Dominos.
We will all miss his advice, patience, sense of humor, and especially those big hugs. We thank God for all of the years we had to spend with him.
Service and interment are private
