BATTAGLIA 1925-2015 Battaglia Gennaro “Jerry”on June 16, 2016 of Rose Tree Place formerly of Springfiled, PA, known to many as “Jerry the Jeweler”, he owned and operated Jerry’s Jewelers on Sansom St in Phila. He was veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. Survived by his son Robert Battaglia (Deborah) and his grandchildren Mark Battaglia and Emily Nolan (Frank), his niece Phyllis Martinell (Chuck) and nephews Ed D’Angelo (Anna) and John Rastelli (Mary). Relatives and friends are invited to his Vistitation Monday 11:00 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 12 noon at D’Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home 908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations in Jerry’s memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102Phila., PA 19106.
