Geraldine “Gerri” Rapinesi, 68, of Essington, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 9, 2026.

Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia. Gerri was the loving Mother of Marc Rapinesi (Krissy), daughter of the late Rita Rapinesi and Frank Rapinesi (Camille), sister of Rita Fran Davies (Stephen), Annette Rapinesi and brother of Louis Rapinesi (Toni); her nieces, Arianna and Layla Franco; her cats, Belle and Jack as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gerri attended West Catholic High School and later earned an IT degree from Drexel University. In 1991, her only son Marc was born. From that day forward, she dedicated her life to loving and supporting him, always making sure his future and well-being were her highest priorities.

Gerri was the proud owner of Gerri’s Gems and Jewels, where her passion for jewelry and her warm, welcoming personality allowed her to build lasting friendships with customers and members of the community. She truly enjoyed connecting with people and loved every conversation she shared.

She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends while listening to her favorite R&B Music and loved spending time in Atlantic City, where she particularly enjoyed playing the Wonder Woman games. She especially loved going to the beach to lay in the sunshine and listen to the sounds of the ocean. Staying connected with family and friends meant everything to her, and she treasured the many memories she created with those she loved.

Gerri will be greatly missed and she will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the many lives she touched throughout her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to her celebration of life on Tuesday March 24th at 9:30- 10:45 am at Danjolell – Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Rd. Aston. Celebration of life will be at 11 am in our main chapel.

Interment will be private.

Dearest Gerri, Today we celebrate your life & say good-bye it will be a bitter sweet day for us who have enjoyed being a part of your life, watching your jewelry lives, seeing your posts from Hard Rock in A.C. & I will miss my visits with you and sharing stories & our laughs. Gerri, I will never forget you from Guyer avenue. So many memories from grade school to high school to moving and then getting married and finally reconnecting many years later. Rest in Peace my good friend, I will miss you.

I’m in utter shock seeing that Gerri passed away. I was just checking to see where she’s been, not seeing her live Gerri’s gems jewelry lately. I was with her from the beginning of her doing her lives and we became good friends without even meeting her in person. What a beautiful soul We had many laughs and had a lot in common with our knee replacements, revisions. I will miss you my friend. Rest in peace

Gerri…..what a beautiful woman inside and out! I am so thankful for the memories. I will cherish watching her live videos on Gerri’s gems and Jewels, purchasing and winning free jewelry! I esp enjoyed going to her house picking up my jewelry or just sitting at her dining room table looking at jewelry then going out back to have ice tea or lemonade and just sit and laugh and talk. I remember when she got her bathroom and kitchen redone she was so excited to show me all the new stuff! When ever I was ill and couldn’t drive to make it to her house to pick up my jewelry she always came to my house and brought it to me and we would laugh and talk. I loved and will always remember and hear her laugh and voice. When ever I went to her house her dog always sniffed all over me because he could smell my dogs on me. Gerri was a wonderful soul here on earth who will be missed dearly. She is now a beautiful Angel in heaven watching over all her loved ones with her mommy and others who preceded her. I am so saddened that due to recent eye surgery and unable to drive I will not be able to attend her memorial however memories and love can’t ever be erased. My heart will be with the family and my memories will live on forever. May beautiful Gerri rest in all eternity in heavenly peace. We will meet again one day. Gerrie had the biggest heart of anyone that I have ever known. When she loved you it was forever. And she loved hard with that heart. She was one of my dearest best girlfriend. I am greatful for having such a wonderful friend. Rest Peacefully WONER WOMAN
