Henry J Worthington was born on November 15th 1927 to Harry V. Worthington and Estelle Feldkircher. He was an older brother to Paul T. Worthington.
He is survived by five of his six children, Sally(deceased 2002), Hank (Sue), Patricia (Richard deceased 2018), Diana (Bill), Brian and Gerard (Debbie).
His nine Grandchildren, Jacquie, Billy, Jennifer, Hank, Rebecca, Joseph, Caroline, Tommy, and Jake.
His six Great Grandchildren, Elijah, Karl Jr., Nora Lee, Kobe, Otto and Andrew (Andy).
Henry was born and raised in Broomall, Pa. He attended St. Anastasia through 8th grade. He went onto West Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He was drafted in his Senior year of High School and served in WW2.
After returning home from the Service he became a loan officer and later met the love of his life, Sarah Hogan.
They were married September 30th, 1950.They resided in Newtown Square where they raised six children. He opened his own Tax Accounting business and served the community for 45 years. Sarah passed away at age 88 in 2016.
He was an avid writer, and published his first book at the age of 90 , Amelia Earhart “A Long Time Looking”.
He loved talking about history, and sharing his childhood stories with the family.

Henry loved to dance with his beautiful wife, now you can dance with her up in heaven Dad. We all love you and will miss you.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation, Saturday, January 10th 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM follow by his Memorial Service 11:00 AM in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
