David, Carol, Cassel and Thompson families, thank you for raising such a wonderful young man. I didn't get to see Jake in the last couple years of his life so in my mind, Jake will always be the little boy visiting his grandmother next door. The one my brother George and I could never say no to when he wanted to have a catch on the front lawn, practice batting or learn to ride a two wheeler. You are missed my many already Jacob. - JimBob

Jake was a very happy young man. He would do anything to help anyone. He had such a great personality. He always was there to give a hug if he thought you needed one. He gave me the best 20 years of my life. Love and miss him so much. Aunt Kat.
Jake was such a nice addition to our program. He always had a smile on his face and readily added to many interesting discussions at the apartment. During these past 8 months, Jake never complained and was always upbeat. Even when he was not feeling well, he always thanked us for anything we did for him. I will miss him and pray that he is now at peace. He was so lucky to have such great parents to support him especially this year.
