I didn't get to see Jake in the last couple years of his life so in my mind, Jake will always be the little boy visiting his grandmother next door. Jake was such a nice addition to our program. He always had a smile on his face and readily added to many interesting discussions at the apartment. During these past 8 months, Jake never complained and was always upbeat. Even when he was not feeling well, he always thanked us for anything we did for him. I will miss him and pray that he is now at peace. He was so lucky to have such great parents to support him especially this year.
