Janis M. Meliti

Janis M. (nee Conway) Meliti, age 80, of Ridley Park, PA and formerly of Ardmore, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024.

Janis was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Anthony, Sr. She is survived by her loving children Karen Clyde (Jim), Diane Petrucci (Rick), Carol MacLaughlin (Jamie), Anthony Jr. (Kelly) and Francis (Lisa); her 13 cherished grandchildren Christopher (Lauren), Jimmy, Jack, Nick, Dan, Julia, Jamie, Jessica, Ryan, Lauren, Connor, Briana, Lucas; her adoring great granddaughter Leighton; her treasured sister Sharon Karlton; her dear sisters-in-law Sharon (the late John) Conway and Frances (the late Skippy) Armandi; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Janis was the daughter of the late John “Jack” Sr. and Rose Conway. She grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic Girls High School. She worked at a bakery and the old PSFS Bank, both in Philadelphia, Whatsitsname restaurant in Ardmore and Super Fresh in Wynnewood where she retired after more than 25 years. She enjoyed playing the lottery and sharing a morning coffee with her husband. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Her greatest pride was her grandchildren. She was there for all of them.

She will be dearly missed but lives on in each of us.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Monday, December 30th from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, with Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM, ALL IN CHURCH St. Francis Assis Church, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064. Internment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
