HICKEY

Jean B., (nee Batty) age 95, on July 28, 2024, of Brookhaven, PA.

Jean loved her dogs and traveling to many places. She also enjoyed Ocean City, New Jersey and Florida. She was an avid reader, was friends with Judge Judy and went to bed at night with “The Big Bang Theory”.

Predeceased by her husband John “Jack” E. Hickey, her daughters, Gale Collington, and Nancy Davis, her grandchild, Timothy Davis, her parents, Martha (nee Wills), and Herbert Batty, and her siblings, Pearl Lane, Herbert “Bud” Batty, and Harry Batty.

Survived by her children, Lynne Baumeister (Edward), and Thomas J. Carter, Jr. (Jennifer), her eight (8) grandchildren, fourteen (14) great-grandchildren, eight (8) great-great grandchildren, and her sons-in-law, Michael Davis, and James Collington.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, August 2nd 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM followed by her Funeral Service 12:00 NOON in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment Arlington Cemetery.
