Jerry P. Steele

Jerry P. Steele, of Aston, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2026.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, including active duty during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. His military service reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment.

Jerry retired from the Penn-Delco School District, where he was employed for a number of years.

Jerry was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Janet, and loving stepfather to Cindy (Michael) Galvin and Nikki Chambers. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mikayla, MacKenzie, Conor, and Alexa.

Creative by nature, Jerry enjoyed writing children’s books, a passion that allowed him to share stories and imagination with others. He also found satisfaction working in his wood shop, where he spent countless hours crafting and building.

Jerry is also survived by one brother and four sisters, along with extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Friday, January 30^th at 10:00am at the Danjolell- Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Road Aston

A funeral service will follow 11:00 am in our main chapel.

Interment will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery at 11:30am.

Private luncheon to follow.
