John D’Avico III

D’AVICO

John, III, age 41, passed away on August 28, 2025, of Hermitage, PA, formerly of West Chester, PA. He was born on November 29, 1983, in Darby, PA. He was diagnosed in 2023 with ALS; John fought a courageous battle.

John attended Bishop Shanahan High School and graduated in 2001. He attended and graduated from Pittsburgh Technical Institute; his degree was in IT and Cyber Security. Before his illness, he worked IT at Mars School District in Cranberry, PA. He helped special needs children within the school with computer skills; John was showered by many gifts due to his kindness by the parents of the school. John was an avid wrestling fan, WWE, and attended many events with his children and cousins.

He is survived by mother, Roseann (NEE Muldoon) and the late John D’Avico, Jr., his wife, Melissa, his children, Vincent and Emily Rose; loving sister Ashley Rose (John Joines). Also survived by his grandparents, Catherine (the late Charles Muldoon), and the late John and Rosemary D’Avico; his aunt and uncles, Catherine Sullivan (Kevin), Charles (Maureen), and John, and his cousins, CJ and Patrick Muldoon, Aidan and Liam Sullivan, and Tyler Muldoon.

Relatives & friends are invited to his Memorial Mass, Saturday, November 15^th, 10:30 AM at Saint Anastasia Roman Catholic Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.  Inurnment Private.
