FERRI John F., of Wallingford, formerly of Broomall, on January 13, 2017.Beloved husband of Jean (nee Breithaupt) and loving father of John F. Jr. (Lisarose), Matthew J., Theresa Marie Shubin (Todd) and Cecelia A. Catando (Bruce, O.D.). Also survived by his 6 grandchildren and his sisters, Stella Raney and Anna Rocci. He was predeceased by his sister, Etta Misticoni.John grew up in West Philadelphia. Upon graduation from St. Thomas More High School, John attended Villanova University on a Navy ROTC scholarship where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation he served at the Naval Station Great Lakes. At the completion of his naval service he began a 28 year career at the General Electric Space Division. It was a career he truly enjoyed and would look forward to going to work each day because of the interesting and challenging work he performed.John lived his life with faith, love and compassion and was dedicated to his family. He was married to his wife Jean for 58 years. He showed care and devotion and true love throughout their wonderful marriage. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Thursday, 7-9 PM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Relatives and friends are also invited to a Viewing on Friday, 10-10:45 AM to St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Mass 11 AM. Interment Sts.
