Frannie, Jennifer, Joseph and the rest of the Simko family, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your Father, Grandfather and my favorite Uncle Johnny. He was a good man with great character who made many personal sacrifices so his family could benefit. From the streets of South (Hemberger) and Southwest Philly (Dorel) to Vare and Finnigan's playgrounds to Bartram's field, I will always look back with fond memories and feel his presence at these places.
I thank him for opening his home to me and sharing his keen knowledge of sports and the construction of paper airplanes. You have no idea how important those lessons were as I pass this knowledge on to my family and others.
Lastly, Uncle Johnny you have done well in this life and have earned your rest. God bless you.
