John and Marian were great friend of my wife Dot and i. We would go on vacation to the Lurae for more years then I can count. When my wife Dot got cancer John always made sure that he had a umbrella in the low end of the pool in so that she was out of the sun and put a reserved sign there for the weeks that we stayed. MY kids loved it my grandchildren loved and all who worked there treated us as family Fran ,and Paul, Sonny and Joanne and Marian. John and I spoke about the motel and he said do I want to work as hard as he does after I spent 25 year on the Philadelphia Police force and we never spoke about the motel again as this was not a place that I could do all that their whole crew did. When people make you feel like you are family that is saying something that shows you what people who were there did for their guest John will be in my night prayers and I will finish with John was a real gentleman. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it… White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.❤️
