John P. Lavery

John P. "Jack" Lavery of Berwyn, PA, formerly of Bryn Mawr, died on March 10, 2006.

A member of Aronimink Golf Club since 1984 and very active since 1994 as Chairman of the Engineering Committee 96-98, and House Committee 96-98, and as Club Secretary on the Board of Governors from 1998-2003 and then as Asst. Secretary to the Board of Governors till the present. Jack also served as President of the Waynesborough Woods Home Assoc.

Brother of the late Donald J. Lavery and brother-in-law of the late Robert Gillette, he is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Margaret nee Hedrick; his son, John F. Karen of Topsfield, MA; his daughters, Lucy E. Craig Lavery-Brown of Chagrin Falls, OH and Polly E. Lavery, Ph.D. of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, Katie, Jed, Joby and Daniel. Also his sister, Phyllis A. Gillette of NJ and his sister-in-law, Laura Lavery.
