To John's family, I teach at Upper Darby, and for the past 4 years have learned about all of you through John. I brought him tomatoes and hot peppers, and he always gave me tips on preserving the peppers and told me about the food that he created with our garden crops. He called me Doylestown because that's where I am from. I will miss my friend, and am so sorry that I didn't hear of his passing until this past Thursday. Please accept my condolences, and let me know if I can do anything to help, besides keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I would love to continue to bring tomatoes and hot peppers for all of you to share. I live very close to Charing Cross in Doylestown. God Bless all of you Jonna Eiser Doylestown

I had the pleasure of meeting John twice at Upper Darby high school. What a wonderful person he was. I knew so many people that knew him, and spoke so highly of him. Everyone that knew said "John was a man of his word". He made you feel that you knew him forever the first time you met him, and I was very sad when I learned of his passing. He will be missed very much. Everyone at the High School knew him by first name. It was an honor to have met such a wonderful person, and my condolences to his family. God Bless You John!
