I loved watching your son John on the beach in SIC with all the little girls playing and having so much fun with them. He was a big giant with a gentle heart and it was so obvious. May John find his place in heaven and linger over all of you and love you all until you meet him again in heaven. What a special son he was!

My son had the pleasure of getting to know John over the past few months and he told me how incredibly kind and helpful John was to him. John had given him a ride somewhere and they talked about the Jersey shore, something they both didn’t realize they had in common. From the way my son described him, John sounded like a wonderful person who went out of his way to be warm and welcoming. Our entire family is devastated by your loss, and we wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time. John has been and will continue to be in my prayers. I’m grateful my son had a chance to know him.

John and I worked with Dan Covington for the last 7 months. From his first day he was on a mission to learn everything he could about his position. What a work ethic. He was a great success! His warm and inviting character will be missed.

Dear Judy,Bob and family. When I received the posting from my son Joe I was stunned speechless for few minutes. My first thoughts were of the first night I met Johnny at the soccer field when Fred drafted my son Joe to be on his team. I saw this lanky young man running up and down in the lane he was assigned to . He was a great kid. Very respectful a good team mate and hard worker but I did not realize until I saw him a few years later was that the tall kid who was all arms and legs had more character than would fit into the average adolescent body. He was a budding great man playing soccer and working hard to be good at it. He accomplished a lot and while we have lost him his memory will remain with us. So, Johnny, until we meet again.
