From Indian guides to Sunday mass at the Romanos to big Joe walking down the beach to see if Joey and I caught any fish. I have great memories. He made the best breakfast at the shore . I’ll miss him,I loved him. RIP Big Joe.

I loved Joe! One of the best memories of my life was building a side-by-side house in Sea Isle City with Joe and Fran. It not only kept our families close, it was such a wonderful feeling arriving late on Friday night, after a long week at work, and sitting on the deck until two or three o’clock in the morning. We had so many laughs on that deck. Joe was not only the best brother-in-law ever, he was a fantastic uncle as well. He had the unique ability to make all of his nieces and nephews feel special. Sara, also enjoyed the benefit of having such a devoted grandfather. Joe and my husband John, (Fran’s brother), spent their days together on the beach soaking up the sun, building castles, playing games with the kids, providing everyone with the best sandwiches ever or just staring out at the ocean always thinking “Life is Good”. It’s comforting to know that Joe’s buddy, John, is welcoming him in heaven with open arms. My heart goes out to Fran, Joe Jr and Paul during this difficult time. Stay Strong! Love, Aunt Ro

My brother-in-law, Joe, was a very, very special guy. Joe and his wife, Fran, my sister, spent many wonderful family get togethers at our homres, at Darby Swim Club and at the Romano home in Sea Isle City. Joe was our handyman and a go to person for anything. His love for his wife and two sons was immesureable. I always felt I had a special bond with Joe. He loved life and will be greatly missed by all!
