Joseph E. “Joe”, age 90, on January 11, 2026 of Broomall, formerly of South West Phila., and Drexel Hill, PA.
Joe was a part of the Initial Wave of Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and Lay Lectors in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at St. Andrews, Drexel Hill. Joe was very active in St. Pius X Parish as a Eucharistic Minister, he visited the sick in residences, nursing homes, and hospitals. He was also a member of the Serra Club.
Joe was the longtime President and Owner of Drexeline Graphics, Inc. where he retired in 2020 at the age of 85. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph E. Sr. and Jennie (nee DelVecchio), his first wife, Lillian (nee D’Andrea), his brother Anthony, and his sister Jean.
Survived by his loving wife of 35 years Donna (nee Fizzano), his sons Joseph E. III, Ted (Joan) and Frank (Mimi) DeRitis, His daughter Bernadette Marie (Mike) Patterson, his stepsons Reverend Louis, C.S.C. and Michael (Megan) Del Fra, his 11 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and his sister-in-law Barbara DeRitis
Relatives & Friends are invited to his Visitation Friday Afternoon, January 16th 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. followed by his Funeral Mass 1:00 p.m. ALL IN CHURCH at St. Pius X Church 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008 and will by celebrated by Reverend Del Fra, C.S.C. Inurnment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
