Joseph Ralph Cooke, Jr.

Joseph Ralph Cooke, Jr. 74, of Brookhaven, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph served in the Army, two terms in Vietnam. Joseph was an educator for many trades and switch board operator for Glen Mills Schools. He enjoyed traveling, drag racing, working with his hands, and teaching. Son of the late Joseph Ralph Cooke, Sr. & Frances (nee Robinson) Cooke. Devoted husband of Shirley (nee Ward) Cooke, loving father of Joseph Ralph Cooke, III. He is survived by many loving brother and sisters-in-law including Georgia and Larry MacInnis, Karen Brazell and James Haney, Janet Lincoln, Carol Pullin, Greg Ward, Kevin Ward, David and Wendie Ward. Loving late bother and sisters-in-law include Linda and Albert Turoski, Jerry Brazell, and Robert Lincoln. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews including Robert Turoski, Shawn Courtine-Turoski, Brian MacInnis, Mark MacInnis, Kathy Fuller, Chis Lincoln, Taylor Ward, and Courtney Ward.
Funeral Service and interment will be private.
