Joseph V. Dimperio

Joseph V. "Joe Dee" D’Imperio of Drexel Hill, formerly of Havertown, died on May 22, 2005.

Beloved husband of 65 years of Olga E. nee Gambino; loving father of Elaine M. Andreoni Richard, Mary Lou J. Borish Neil, Brian L. Luanne and the late Joseph A. Erica. He was the devoted brother of Millie Pinto and Lucille Lento and is also survived by 12 adoring grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A gentle man of many talents, Joe was regarded as one of the experts in manufacturing. He achieved success as the Vice President of several companies in the Phila. area. He retired at age 80 from Balt Chain and Anchor Co.

He was voted "Man of the Year" for 1991 by the Phila. Commonwealth Lodge of the Order of the Sons of Italy. Joe was also an active member of DeLaSalle Council #590 of the Knights of Columbus.
