Joyce F. Templin, age 77, of Lutheran Knolls in Boothwyn, passed away on May 13, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Joyce worked as a security guard for Penn Delco School District, before retiring.
She enjoyed going to the beach, being at the park, playing cards and bingo with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was the most kind-hearted person. She would give you the shirt off her back and wouldn’t think twice about doing so. Her children’s friends always considered her to be the neighborhood mom. She was a spit fire and everyone she met, couldn’t help but to love her.

Daughter of the late Robert & Helen Templin
Loving mother of Judith (John Sr.) Schuebel, William (Christine) Downs, Stephen (Deb) Downs, Jr., Edward (Sabrina) Downs, Kimberlie (Randy) Gregory. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Michael and Dallas Downs, John and Jacob Schuebel, Logan and Colby Downs, Camryn (Taylor) Downs, Ireland Downs, Austin Downs, Jaxon Downs, Alyssa (Bill) Walsh, and Mackenzie Gregory.
Her great grandchildren Kyleigh Downs, Avery & JJ Downs, Dylan Downs, Joseph Walsh, Baylee Walsh, and Haylee Walsh
Sister of Jacqueline (Voula) Forsythe, Denise (Dave) Beck, Robert (Gail) Templin, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Wed. 9:30-10:45am at the Danjolell – Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Rd. Aston. A memorial service will be held at 11am in our main chapel. Interment will be private.

Memom, First I would like to thank you for the love and acceptance you gave me. I'm honored to be married to your granddaughter and able to fulfill that dream you always wanted for her. The impact you left on my life I hold dear to my heart. I treasure the times we spent together talking, laughing and joking with one another even though you thought I had issues at times lol. You smile and cheer filled the room with happiness just your presence was uplifting. You gave it all you had and it's commendable. I didn't want you to go but I know your in a better place now and can give us all guidance as we continue our journeys through life. I told you that I would do anything I could for you and I hope you know how deeply I cared for you. I made a promise to you that I will keep and honored to do so. I'll miss you like crazy and my love will never stop. One day we will meet on the other side until then forever in our hearts!!!

Mom....I don't even know where to start. I love you and miss you so much! You were always there for me no matter what. You were my rock! I am so lost without you I know you are at peace now and you have wanted this for a while but it doesn't make it any easier. I lost my best friend....a piece of me when you left us we love you so much! Til we meet again Mom! Forever in my heart!

Jackie and Denise, I am so sorry to read about Joyce’s passing. Many fond memories when we were young.

We had so many wonderful memories with you memom. You were such a kind-hearted woman, & everyone loved you dearly, especially us! We love you & you will ALWAYS be with us & in our hearts!!

I remember seeing you every time I came back to Pennsylvania to see My Dad (Ike) and family you were always so happy and full of love ..I really wish all of us cousins could have had more time together. I wasn't able to contact you for a while and am sorry I missed getting to talk to you again ..I love you and will miss you

Joyce, you and Elaine were the 1st people to welcome myself and my husband Bill to Lutheran Knolls the day we moved in, you were so nice to us. Rest In Peace my friend.
