Kathleen T. DelViscio (nee Burke) passed peacefully at home on March 13, 2024, age 96, in Morton. Wife of the late Lawrence A. DelViscio, she is survived by her loving children, Lawrence (the late Lynda) DelViscio, Thomas (Linda) DelViscio, and Victoria (Butch) Walker; as well as her 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who she adored for the entirety of her life. Kay is predeceased by her son, William DelViscio (and the late Maryanne). She was a sister to the late William Burke, Francis Burke, Mary Cecilia Evans, Nancy Shields, and Patricia Hilferty.

Kathleen was a longtime resident of Darby and known to many as “Kay/Kate” or “Mrs. Del.” Kay was a devout Catholic, a dedicated member of the Blessed Virgin Mary church, and an unofficial member of the “Darby Dolls.” Kay dedicated much of her life to spending time with her family and friends, including years of memories made by the bay in North Cape May. Outside of her family life, she was a committed employee of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, where she lovingly took care of the babies in the nursery. Kay also loved to fill her time with baking and cooking, providing meaningful experiences at the table for those in her life. Kay was an avid shopper, using her charming Irish personality to turn many store-goers, into friends. Kay was full of life. She will be missed by those who loved her dearly.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday, March 20th 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at Blessed Virgin Mary Church 1101 Main St, Darby, PA 19023. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
