Cosentino
Lois (nee Bachetti), 82, of King of Prussia, PA, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Philadelphia on New Year’s Day, 1944, to Gilda (nee Mauro) and Albert Bachetti, Lois grew up in West Philadelphia. For 61 years, she was married to her best friend and partner in all things, Michael E Cosentino Jr. Together, they raised their family and spent most of their married life in Havertown, building a home filled with laughter, music, and an open door for anyone in need of comfort or a good meal.
While Lois achieved much throughout her life, she measured her true success by the impact she made on the people around her. She was a woman of enduring strength and steady grace whose unconditional love left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Known for her fierce activist spirit, vibrant sense of humor, love for Bob Dylan, and legendary gatherings hosted and cooked alongside her husband, Lois had a rare gift for making people feel seen, cherished, and welcomed. Though she was a mother to two, she was a true maternal figure to many others.
Lois was the loving mother of Lisa Gallagher and Michael A. Cosentino. She was predeceased by her beloved son-in-law, James Gallagher. She is survived by her granddaughter, Jennifer, and held an extra-special place in her heart for her adored great-grandson, Henry, who brought endless joy and laughter to her life.
She is survived by her devoted brothers, Albert Bachetti and his wife Lucille, and Paul Bachetti and his wife Lisa; her sister-in-law, Joanne Scottoline and her husband Richard; cousins, a niece and nephews, and a cherished community of extended family and friends who all radiated in her warmth.
Services will be held privately by the family. For those wishing to honor Lois’s memory, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the American Civil Liberties Union.
