Lois Eugenia Kirven

Lois Eugenia Kirven, 86, of Havertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026.

Lois was born to Marian Osowski Edwards and Leonard Edwards. She was later lovingly raised by her mother, Marian Osowski ReDavid, and her stepfather, Vincent ReDavid. Lois graduated from Chester High School in 1957 and was especially proud of her long and accomplished career as a legal secretary, working for various law offices throughout Media, Pennsylvania.

Lois had a lifelong appreciation for the arts and especially loved sharing music with her beloved husband, the late Jay Albert Kirven. Together, they formed the musical duo “Silver and Gold,” with Lois as the vocalist and Jay accompanying her on piano. Music brought them great joy and was a special part of the life they shared together.

More than anything, Lois loved spending time with her family. Family was at the heart of her life, and the time she shared with those she loved was what she treasured most.

Lois was the beloved wife of the late Jay Albert Kirven and the loving mother of the late Stephanie Lynn Digan. She was the devoted sister of Janice (Carl) Morelli and the cherished grandmother of Tyler. She was also a beloved aunt to Carl Morelli, Lisa Morelli Bristow (Stuart), Vince Morelli, and Marianne Morelli Walls (David), as well as her many great-nieces and great-nephews. She shared a special relationship with her dear cousin, Joan Smith, and Joan’s family, as well as members of Jay’s loving family.

Lois will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, relatives, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lois’s viewing on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 1:00pm at Danjolell-Stigale Memorial Home, 3260 Concord Road, Aston, Pennsylvania. Her funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Chapel.
