Lois Ryan left a message on January 15, 2005:

I don't know where to begin. My father was my best friend. I would talk to him at least 10 times a day. I was married for 18 years and he would still call me when i would get home from being out with my kids or just running errands to make sure everyone was ok and safe. He always made my son call him after all his soccer and basketball games to tell him how he did,and would always want to know how Monica did at dance class. He wanted to be sure everyone was happy. He worried about everyone before he worried about himself. The memories I have will live in my broken heart for the rest of my life along with the question WHY. He was the father that my husband did not have and my husband was the son my father never had. They had such good times together.Like my sister said "God couldn't take another father away from my husband so he took them both" I miss them both dearly and may they rest in peace. I Love You Daddy.xo

Aunt Marie, Diane, and Lois, I will always remember Uncle Lou. It has been a long time since we saw each other. But the memories are still so fresh in my mind. I will never forget all the times I stayed over your house. I was part of your family. Uncle Lou will be sadly missed in my heart. If you guys need me for any thing just let me know. I want to be there for you guys. Love Lisa

Pop, what can I say? You and Ma are my "parents" and I can't believe you're gone. All the trips to the casino, going out to lunch,or just visiting with you. I will miss that and much more. I will miss hearing you play the organ and the accordian.I will miss hearing all the stories of your growing up. But, most of all, I will miss seeing your smiling face and hearing your wonderful voice! Ma, Diane, and Lois if you ever need anything let me know. I love you all very much! Jane
