Lucy Kiziuk, 79, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2018. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Roman (Ray) Kiziuk in 1996 and a brother Tom Ennis. She is survived by her devoted sister, Joan Hegarty; her longtime companion, Richard Hartley; her loving children: Lisa Kiziuk(Fred de Long) and Stephen Kiziuk (Erika); her adoring grandchildren: George, Katerina, Kristjan and Konur: her brother Neil (Carol) Dent and sister-in-law Claire Ennis, as well as many family members and friends. Born in White Plain, NY in May 1938, Lucy was daughter of the late Mark Ennis and Lucy Keeler. At three years old, she moved to Bloomsburg, PA and a few years later to Philadelphia where Lucy attended Bartram High School and subsequently earned an Associate Degree at Philadelphia General Hospital (PGH). She worked at Scott Paper Company in Research and Development, where she met her husband, Ray. She spent her last 50 years in Rose Valley, PA, where she worked as an X-Ray technician for various medical institutions and found time to serve as the Inspector of Election for Rose Valley Borough and with the local Town Watch for over 20 years. She was very athletic in her teens and played basketball and softball with “PAL gals” (Police Athletic League). She loved to visit her family in Bloomsburg, especially trips to the infamous Bloomsburg fair! After retiring from her last job at the Philadelphia Naval yard in 1996, she developed a passion for travel and visited every continent except Antarctica. She was always up for adventure but was equally happy enjoying a cocktail at the Town House bar. Lucy loved her family and “put up” with annual camping trips during her children’s developmental years. Summers weren’t complete without family visits to Beach Haven, NJ. Her children are grateful for her selfless nature as she always put others needs first. Holidays were always special to her, especially Thanksgiving with the Irish side and Christmas with the Ukrainian side. She adored her grandchildren and spent many hours watching games, holiday concerts, and visiting her youngest in New Mexico. In her final days, she reveled in the historic Eagles Super Bowl victory. Lucy will remain in our hearts forever. Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday morning, 9 -10:30 AM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Wallingford, 908 S.
