CLEARY Mary Janice, age 72, passed away on October 10, 2021. Janice was fierce in every sense of the word. She was incredibly independent and free-spirited, wildly loyal, and extraordinarily generous. She was quick to share a cup of tea and to spoil those around her, especially her beloved golden retrievers. Janice enjoyed the finer things in life including spending time with family, traveling the world with her siblings, Nancy and Jim, and single handedly keeping QVC afloat during the pandemic. She was particularly proud of her Irish heritage and counted her trips to Ireland among her favorite memories. She spent the majority of her life in Drexel Hill, where she honored family memories in the same house she grew up in. As an educator for more than 30 years, Janice taught countless students to be kind, caring individuals who understood the value of hard work. She will be missed dearly by her sister Nancy Ann Cleary and brother Jim Cleary, her sister-in-law Ginny Cleary, and dozens of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.Janice is predeceased by her brother John Francis Cleary Jr, and her parents John Francis Cleary Sr. and Mary Theresa Cleary (Conaughton).Survived by her sister Nancy Ann Cleary and her brother Jim Cleary and sister-in-law Ginny Cleary, also many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday 8:00-9:45 a.m. at The D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, 19008 and Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m.at St. Bernadette’s Church 1001 Turner Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
