Margaret Gallagher

Margaret Ann “Margie” Gallagher, nee Joyce, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on October 30, 2026. She was a mother and a grandmother, a wife, a daughter, and a sister, but she was also an artist, a teacher, a student, a volunteer, an advocate, a supporter, a caretaker, a protector, and a fighter.  She was happiest when making and creating art, whether that was painting, drawing, making mosaics, or just getting messy with her grandsons.

Margie was born in Darby, PA, the only daughter and middle child of Margaret (Wright) and Gerald Joyce, Sr.  She was the wife of James, and mother to Jillian, Erin (Ian Suen), Timothy, and Claire (Christopher Nave).  Nana to her favorite humans on earth, her grandsons Riley and Cameron Gallagher and Luca and Silas Suen.  She is survived by her brother Kevin and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; predeceased by her brothers William, Gerald, and John.

Services to be held Friday, November 20 at Temple Lutheran Church, Havertown.  Visitation 9:30, service at 11.
