D’AVELLA

Maria, (nee Rossi) age 89, on September 24, 2024, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA for 67 years. She was a long-time staff member of the Haverford School District. Maria began working with the school district when her children began school. Thus, ensuring they were always together on school holidays, snow days, and all summer long. Maria enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, food network tv, game shows, puzzles, and walks on the beach. Maria’s passion was her family. Her greatest joys came from her children and grandchildren. Her dancing in the kitchen always brought a smile and laugh. We know Maria is at peace now.

Predeceased by her husband Anthony M. D’Avella, Sr., and her parents, Antoinetta (nee Falcone), and Angelo Rossi.

Survived by her children, Anthony M., Jr. (Mary), and Theresa A. D’Avella, and her two grandchildren, Elise Marie D’Avella, and Nicole Ann D’Avella-Moore (Eric).

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday, October 2^nd 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Denis Catholic Church 2401 St Denis Ln, Havertown, PA 19083. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
