Aunty was my ammachi's own sisters daughter.ie.my father and aunty are first cousins.3 yrs back i visited uncle and aunty at their residence.Aunty ,his son and family also visited me back at Bethel Church parsonage Philadelphia.When I was there aunty called me every day.I remember her love, gratitude and concern towards our needs.We express our deepest condolences to Thankachen uncle and children

"Valymummy" (Big Mother) as her nieces and nephews called her, was the matriarch of the family. Valymummy was part of the pioneering generation of immigrant nurses who settled in the US and served her adopted country with utmost dedication and devotion--a lasting testimony in the history books.
Committed to the well-being of the extended family, as her niece and as a recipient of her largesse, I can say, she helped many to reach the shores of the US for better opportunities in life.
