Marion E. Helferty of Aston passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 19, 2026.

Marion was devoted to St. Joseph Church in Aston

She worked as a Pediatric nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital and DuPont Nemours Children’s Hospital.

She enjoyed her family immensely. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marion enjoyed camping, kayaking and visiting national parks in her golden years.

Preceded in death by her husband Daniel P. Helferty, Sr. and her son Daniel P. Helferty, Jr.

Survivors: Loving mother of John (Suzanne) Helferty, Thomas Helferty, James (Kathy) Helferty, Richard (Maureen) Helferty, Maryann Helferty, Karen (Ronald) Moeller, Patricia (Daniel) Daniels, her daughter in law Linda Helferty.

Also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren

Relatives & Friends are invited to her viewing & funeral Friday Jan. 30th 9:30-10:45am at St. Joseph Church 3255 Concord Road Aston. Marion’s funeral mass will be at 11am.

Interment will be at St. Thomas the Apostle cemetery.
